Meetings
Manchester Free Software meets at 19:00 on the third Tuesday of each month at the Lass O’Gowrie pub on Charles Street in Central Manchester. The talks are located in the Salmon Room upstairs, although there will be people around a little earlier downstairs (probably sampling the food and drinks on offer). Just ask at the bar if you can’t find us.
The normal format of the meeting is a talk, where a speaker will disseminate information on a specific topic. After the meeting we go downstairs, where informal discussion will take place over favourite beverages.
Meeting announcements will be posted on this web site, our wiki and on the fsuk-manchester mailing list, confirming the time and location, and an abstract of the talk or other event being held.
We are always looking for new speakers and ideas for events. If you have any suggestions, or can help with the organisation of meetings, please contact us.
